Most people understand that it is against the law to drive a car without car insurance. You also understand that you are prohibited from driving while talking or texting on a portable device. In addition, it is common knowledge that driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs is a serious criminal offense. Of course the list goes on.

• Unless you equip your golf cart with headlights, tuning signals, and other necessary accessories required by state law for city driving, you can only drive it on the golf course or on your private property.
• Although it may indicate pure talent, it is illegal to drive a car and watch a DVD movie at the same time.
• Do not attempt to get out of your vehicle if stopped by a traffic officer unless asked to do so. This illegal act may result in the police officer handcuffing you.
• In most US states, driving a car without a bumper is illegal – (and the excuse of the collision that caused it is of no use, even if you claim you are just going to the auto mechanic – body shop!
• Anyone who takes a dog, cat or other pet in a moving vehicle without a restraint system must expect a traffic fine.
• Many U.S. states have adopted the widely accepted “move over” law, which prohibits passing an emergency vehicle and requires drivers to move out of its way.
• In many states it is illegal to leave your turn signal on when you are not turning – quite problematic for forgetful people who don’t remember that it may still be on after you turn!
• High beam is intended as a visual aid for cars driving on busy country roads. If you wear them in heavy traffic, you’ll not only obscure other drivers’ visibility, but you’ll also get a ticket!
• Applying cosmetics or other personal care while driving your vehicle is considered distracted driving and is illegal.
• Drivers who play very loud music in the interior of their car will face a fine.
